How to choose steel structure materials?

Steel structure plants can be seen everywhere. Compared with traditional buildings in the past, more and more manufacturers prefer to use steel structures. Steel structure workshop refers to buildings with steel structure, including steel columns, steel beams and steel structure foundation. So how to choose materials?

1. The waterproof materials selected for roof works shall meet the following requirements. The drawings shall indicate the type, model and specification of waterproof materials, and the main physical properties shall meet the relevant material quality indexes of this specification;

Considering the operability of construction environmental conditions and processes, the materials used shall be compatible under the following conditions: waterproof materials (referring to coils and coatings) and basic treatment agents, waterproof materials and adhesives, waterproof materials and sealing materials, waterproof materials and protective layer coatings. The two waterproof materials shall be used in combination with basic treatment agents and sealing materials.

4. Waterproof materials shall be selected according to the nature of Haimen steel structure and the function of the roof. In addition to meeting the specification requirements, the following requirements shall be met: the exposed roof shall not be used, and the adhesion with the base shall be strong and resistant to ultraviolet and aging. Waterproof material with excellent ratio, acid rain resistance and puncture resistance.

For the roof of Haimen steel structure, waterproof materials with good puncture resistance, mildew resistance and high tensile strength shall be used. For water storage roofs and planting roofs, waterproof materials with excellent corrosion resistance, mold resistance and puncture resistance shall be used. Roofs of long-span buildings, such as thin shells, prefabricated structures and steel structures, shall be made of waterproof materials with light weight, high heat resistance and good adaptability to deformation.

For inverted roofs, waterproof materials with deformation resistance and high joint sealing assurance rate shall be used. For the inclined roof of Haimen steel structure, waterproof materials with strong adhesion to the foundation layer and sensitive to temperature shall be used, and the roof joints shall be sealed and waterproof. It shall be selected from the base course with strong adhesion, low temperature resistance and tightness.
