In the construction process of steel structure engineering, the general modern steel structure platform structure has the advantages of various forms, complete functions, and wide application. The biggest feature of its structure is the fully assembled structure and flexible design. 1. Layout of steel structure platform
1. When determining the plane size, elevation, beam grid, and column grid layout of the structural platform, in addition to meeting the use requirements, the beam and column layout should also consider the equipment load on the platform and the location of other large concentrated loads, as well as large-diameter industrial pipes. hoisting;
2. The layout of the structural platform should be economical and reasonable, and the transmission capacity should be directly clear. The arrangement of the beam grid should be adapted to its span. When the span of the beam is larger, the spacing should also be increased. Make full use of the allowable span of the paving slab and arrange the beam grid reasonably to achieve better economic results.
3. Meet the requirements of process production operation and ensure the clearance of traffic and operation. Generally, the clear height of traffic is not less than 1.8M, and protective railings should be set around the platform, and the height of the railings is generally 1M. When the height of the platform is greater than 2, the skirting board with a height of 100-150mm should be set under the protective railing. The platform shall be provided with ladders for up and down passage, and the width of the ladder shall not be less than 600mm.


2. Composition and classification of structural platforms
1. The platform structure is usually composed of planks, primary and secondary beams, columns, inter-column supports, as well as ladders and railings.
2. Classification: According to the requirements of use, it can be divided into indoor and indoor platforms, static load and dynamic load platforms, production auxiliary platforms, medium and heavy operation platforms, etc. The platform structure can also be divided into:
1) Both are independent platforms. For the platform with large dynamic load or heavy equipment, it should be separated from the workshop column and directly supported on the independent column.


2) A platform placed directly on a factory column tripod or corbel, usually a safe passage or a simple medium-sized operating platform.
3) One side supports the factory column or building wall, and the other side is provided with an independent column platform.
4) The platform supports large equipment.


A steel structure platform is a self-contained system in a steel structure that can be used indoors or outdoors.
